Currently CEO and founder of Aptilo Networks, a wireless hot spot enabling company. Previously General Manager of Axis Communications Mobile Internet Division, Mr. Wård was responsible for guiding the Axis' company's primary initiative in wireless and mobile communications. He joined Axis after many years with Ericsson, bringing significant and broad experience from the wireless industry. Based in U.S and Canada, he has held various leading roles at Ericsson within Mobile Systems and before leaving was responsible for Ericsson's Wireless Office business in North America. Mr. Wård holds a Masters in electrical engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden. He holds eight separate patents in the area of wireless/mobile communications.
