DESCRIPTION:Interference is a fact of life in the unlicensed bands used by WLANs and is an increasing challenge in all WLAN environments where it usually manifests itself as reduced data-traffic throughput, less effective range, impaired quality of service (QoS) for voice and video applications, and also complete failure. This session discusses the cumulative effects of interference and looks at how best to diagnose the symptoms and resolve spectrum issues.
