DESCRIPTION:Increasingly, mobile end-point security, e.g., laptop security, has been identified as a weak point in overall end-to-end security of next generation solutions. Addressing security of the laptop is essential in a secure network deployment. This session will look at securing the laptop in a next generation network: How do you make it make it as secure as the desktop? What are the limitations? The session will look at solutions such as Network Access Control, data encryption, and how to utilize wireless 3G always-on capability to address mobile security anywhere, anytime, even when the device is turned off.
