SUMMARY:The emerging threat of Wireless Malware
DESCRIPTION:Viruses, worms and Trojans can all be theoretically carried by WiFi and propagated from one wireless laptop to another without the need for a physical network connection. Wireless malware is a brand new concept and is likely to seriously affect the way that mobile users interact, the security policies that companies adopt with regards to mobile working, and the way we all view WiFi. This presentation will show the physical way in which this type of attack can be perpetrated over a real network connection and offer advice on what to look out for and on how to mitigate this threat. A live hack attack will form part of this presentation.
