Nera designed and implemented a solution based on Nera Netlink III (5.8Ghz pre-Wimax technology). Within each polling station a managed 2.4Ghz WiFi access point then delivered the final connection for up to 15 laptop PCs used as polling terminals. Security was provided here using specific e-voting application software and the WEP WiFi security.
