Objective: Provide easy internet access to flight travelers and other people at Swedish airports, regardless of operator agreement. Give LFV full control of its wireless network with a common infrastructure for public and internal network services.
Approach: Build a wireless broadband network reaching throughout the airport, enabling the users to pay for their connection time in a number of ways. Utilize software for centralized control and monitoring of the system.
The Bottom Line: User-friendly Internet connection for users at 16 Swedish airports. The user pays by credit cards, voucher or through a roaming partner. LFV owns the network and can control and modify the service centrally and internally for future needs.
