Philippe started his career in 1989 working with several network equipment manufacturers and network service providers. He has also worked with some major Telecom operators- WorldCom and Level(3) - building their fiber network and managing their operations department. In 2004, Philippe completed a Postgraduate in ICT Audit and Security and used the acquired knowledge to successfully complete several audit missions. He joined the Brussels Regional Information Center in 2006 as Telecom Expert and gives today consultancy on the region's Telecom strategy. He is particularly involved in the "Urbizone" regional WiFi deployment and in the management and expansion of the "IRISnet" fibre optics network.
