Addressing security of the laptop is essential in a secure network deployment. The session will look at solutions such as Network Access Control, data encryption, and how to utilize wireless 3G always-on capability to address mobile security anywhere, anytime, even when the device is turned off.

Interference is a fact of life in the unlicensed bands used by WLANs and is an increasing challenge in all WLAN environments where it usually manifests itself as reduced data-traffic throughput, less effective range, impaired quality of service (QoS) for voice and video applications, and also complete failure.
