Femtocells have captured attention as a solution to fundamental technical and economic challenges that face mobile communications in the home. The same challenges exist in the enterprise. The enterprise further poses additional challenges for the femtocell model in terms of scale, access, control, and integration with existing enterprise communication systems. This session will explore different approaches to femtocells for the enterprise, and discuss the pros and cons of each for enterprise mobile communications.

This session will compare and contrast the technical, implementation and commercial aspects of using femtocells and Wi-Fi for providing mobile communications in buildings, from the point of view of both the enterprise and mobile operator.
